The subject was to design a hotel at the location of an old factory, close from France Soccer Stadium.
The location of the hotel: close from the France Stadium and the site situation: against a railroad lead me to design a hotel that can respond to the events going on in the area and be visible from the railroad.
I imagined a facade that can be modulated by the users through the movable panels in front, and according to the events through the LEDs integrated in the facade panels. The whole installation creates a rich lighting atmosphere.
The idea was also to connect the train station to the canal through the vegetalised deck of the hotel. It is created as an urban space, a promenade that slowly guide people to the canal.
